How to be a Member

Membership

Membership is open to any mentally sound Muslim willing to adhere to and abide by all provisions of this Institution's Constitution.

 

MEMBERS' RIGHTS

A member shall have the right to:

  1. Contest any leadership position.
  2. Vote or be voted into leadership roles.
  3. Access all services available within the Institution.
  4. Volunteer in various activities for the benefit of the Institution.
 

MEMBERS' RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. To actively participate in fulfilling various responsibilities within the Institution to achieve our development goals. To promote the Institution and its activities.
  2. To defend the Institution wherever they may be.
  3. To resign from membership if the member contravenes the Constitution of the Institution.
  4. To collaborate with fellow members wholeheartedly.

MEMBERSHIP PROCEDURE

  1. It shall be the duty of the prospective member to apply for membership in this Institution voluntarily and without coercion.
  2. The prospective member shall be required to fill out a special membership form as outlined in Schedule I of these regulations.
  3. The applicant shall be responsible for paying the entrance fee as determined and approved by the General Meeting. Upon acceptance of the applicant's request, they shall be provided with a membership identification card that will identify them as a member of (TKIC).
  4. For those applicants who are rejected, the Secretary of the Institution shall write a formal letter informing them of the rejection, stating the reasons for their rejection.
 

MEMBERSHIP CONDITIONS

  1. There shall be membership conditions as stipulated in the Institution's Constitution.
  2. A new member shall be required to read and understand the Constitution of the Institution before joining.
  3. Prospective members of the Institution shall have equal opportunities to apply for membership regardless of the duration of their membership.
