Objectives and Main Purposes of TKIC

The objectives and main purposes of TARBIYA TUL KHAIRIYA ISLAMIC CENTRE (TKIC) Tanzania shall be as follows:

  1. To establish, develop, and oversee Madrasas for young children, mothers, and adults.
  2. To provide religious education for young children, mothers, and adults.
  3. To assist children living in difficult circumstances by establishing orphan care centers (providing education, clothing, food, and medicine).
  4. To conduct, coordinate, and provide spiritual services through prayers and worship.
  5. To supervise and guide Islamic believers in the performance of Hajj and Umrah.
  6. To establish, develop, and oversee mosques, madrasas, preschools, primary and secondary schools, vocational training, universities, and other social services.
  7. To assist youth involved in substance abuse such as drugs and marijuana to abstain from such practices through counseling in collaboration with the government and non-governmental organizations to foster a good and safe society.
  8. To collaborate with other religious institutions and communities both domestically and internationally that share similar objectives, purposes, and direction aligned with Islam.
  9. To provide professional counseling services in the following areas:
  • Mediation/arbitration for Muslim marriages.
  • Inheritance and inheritance issues in Islamic jurisprudence.
  • Other matters of faith in Islam.

HOW TO ACHIEVE THE OBJECTIVES

To achieve the objectives as enumerated in the Constitution of this institution:

  1. To receive loans and various forms of aid from individuals, institutions, and governments, whether domestic or international, for the advancement of the institution.

  2. To maintain good cooperation with other institutions without compromising the objectives of TKIC Tanzania.

  3. To receive information and conduct research on various societal issues that the institution will address.

  4. To own and manage mosques, madrasas, preschools, primary and secondary schools, vocational training centers, universities, and other social services.

  5. To possess both real and movable property to further the goals of the institution.

  6. To employ based on qualifications and skills according to the procedures established by the executive committee and to terminate such employment when necessary.
